Nancy Loeb
Nancy grew up outside of Philadelphia and went to college, graduate school, and law school in the mid-Atlantic. She moved to the Midwest 25 years ago and splits her time between the Lake Geneva area and Chicago, with cherished visits with grandchildren in-between.
Nancy was the founding director of the Environmental Advocacy Clinic at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she worked hands-on with law students on environmental cases and issues. Her work with the clinic focused on environmental justice, energy and sustainability, and natural resources protection. She also taught classes in Energy Law and the intersection of Economics and the Environment. Nancy retired from teaching in 2022 and is a Clinical Professor of Law, Emerita at Northwestern.
Nancy has been a long term board member, and former board chair, of the Environmental Law & Policy Center. She also serves on the board of Focus Fairies Mentoring, which provides mentoring and leadership training for young girls and women of color in Chicago communities, and she is an Emerita board member of the National Women’s Law Center.
I am a conservation voter because I believe the natural environment is an extraordinary treasure that we have a responsibility to protect and preserve.
